The Estates Team at the University of Leicester has asked us to give our views on two planned developments at the university. One is extending and improving the Percy Gee building on the main campus. The other is refurbishing and extending the current Brookfield site on London Road, next to Holmfield Road, which is planned to be the new home for the School of Business.
The university is running two public consultations to help them gain the views of local people before final plans are submitted for planning permission. Postcards have been sent to nearby residents which give brief details of the planned developments and the dates and places for the consultations – which are early next week. The consultations are open to all so if you wish to find out more about the plans, and make your views known, this is the best chance to do that.
The Percy Gee consultation is on Monday 17 July 2017 from 3.30pm to 7.00pm in the Queen’s Hall, Percy Gee Building on the main campus.
The Brookfield consultation is on Tuesday 18 July 2017 from 3.30pm to 7.00pm in Seminar Room 27 at Brookfield which is 226 London Road, next to Holmfield Road.
