Historic Victoria Park is a heritage open day blue badge guided walk on September 9th – same day as the Raucous Races.
If the Raucous Races are just too raucous take a break for an hour and discover more about the architecture and social history of the park, from its use as a racecourse, to the bombing of the pavilion and the creation of the War Memorial, designed by famous architect, Sir Edwin Lutyens.
